Best food. The tacos del res and the tortas are always on point. Their nachos are pretty good.

Ever since I moved to Midwood, this place never failed to provide me with a hearty meal when I was having a bad day. The staff always greets me with a smile and treats me like a QUEEN dining in solo. Sure, it's not the cheapest, but I think their prices are fair given their fantastic service, delicious food and immaculately clean space. My go-to is their burrito - carnitas, al pastor, steak were all good!

The service here was great. They were able to seat us quickly because we had a reservation. They made sure tomclear the table whenever it was needed. The food overall was pretty good. It was yummy but not like other places ive tried. I do recommend trying the menudo. It was delicous and worth getting. I also got Al pastor tacos which were pretty decent (4/5) and a quesa birria (3/5) it was missing the birria flavor. The place was great. There were ither family's celebrating fathers day as well and they were enjoying themselves as we were. I would like to return to try ither items as it is decent food to eat and enjoy with family.

Great food portions, tasty Mexican food for a great price. Ordered take out multiple times

Sooo happy to have found this neighborhood gem. A local spot where you can eat good, support a small business, and hang out at unbothered for a bit. A big family of like 12+ seemed to be enjoying a nice chill family dinner which made me smile too! Free chips! I happily canceled our order for nachos to start lol, always grateful when restaurants save me some cash. Personally, I LOVED the goat platter I got. I forget the name but it was a biggg portion! The goat was so juicy, tender, and plentiful! Portion lasted me 2 meals at least. Only downside, there are tiny tiny bones sometimes in the goat, but just be a bit careful and you'll be fine :) My boyfriend enjoyed his steak burrito & veggie tostada. Notably the steak wasn't chewy or hard, which surprises me in a good way! In the past other Mexican restaurants I went to regularly had really tough beef.

I always drive by and alway said I would stop and try it well today was that day food was very good would definitely come back and the service was god and fast they on point. I would recommend this place.

Located in the middle of nowhere, this place is definitely a hidden gem! You'll walk by blocks of warehouses under the train tracks until you stumble upon this impecabbly clean, bright, and welcoming restaurant full of locals, looking very out of place. Inside, you'll find exceptionally tasty mexican food made with very fresh ingredients. My date and I had a round of nachos, which were piled high and very hearty. Next round of tacos included shrimp, chorizo, al pastor, chicken, and beef, and they were all delicioouuusss, sooo full of flavor. The chorizo especially was the perfect blend of crispy and tender and dare I say one the best chorizo i've ever had. Our waitress was very sweet and made sure we were well ok with the ingredients going into our orders. She brought extra napkins when she saw our fingers dripping with delicious chorizo grease. I like her!
